First sold painting!

Pointillism is fun.  I highly recommend q-tips over brushes. 

This piece sold to the wife of an optometrist for his new office in NC.  I hope he likes it cuz I think that's a pretty fun place for my painting to be.  :-)

New first post!

So!  I am reconfiguring this old blog that I had barely started forever ago and turning it into my art blog!  This is exciting because I think I will now be much more apt to post here regularly with the blog now having a specific focus.  I kept the original title because I like it and I'm sure that even with a more concentrated purpose in mind, it will still all come out pretty fragmented because it is *my* blog and that's how I roll.
